Broke out my new electric smoker today. Have a turkey in now. Any recommendations for beer pairing with dinner? Using Apple wood chips and a lightly spiced rub.

I would suggest any smoked beer that is available to you locally.

If there are any Sam Adams Fall seasonal collection it has a bonfire blonde in it.

If you have the space on the smoker put a baking pan lined with tin foil and a couple pounds of grain spread thin spray with water and smoke for 2 to 4 hours and make your own. The Applewood is my first choice. It comes out very mild at 4 hours.
I use a misting bottle and spread it around about every 45 minutes.

Mmm smoke beer!

Will check my cellar. I think I do have a smoked beer in my stock. I have saved spent grains and planned on making homemade granola bars. Didn't think about making my own smoked beer. May give it a shot. Thanks

If you like smoked beer this is the way to go.
You CAN over do it so stick to about 2lbs to start. 2-4 hours - 2 if heavy smoking. It can over power the beer if too much.
