So I was looking through a magazine(Zymurgy) and saw an ad for brewing education. The program is conducted by the American Brewer's Guild and is five weeks long. Has anyone done anything similar? Does it help at all or is it a novel type of thing? I thought about doing it?

No its a real education- As far as I know its not a 4 year degree though.
I havent't done it but have looked into it. One of the programs is a 27 week program with 5 weeks of internship at a brewery or brewpub. Its not a place for homebrewers to go tool around at....its for people who want a career in the brewing industry and earn a "degree"
