Barleywine Dry Hops

I'm currently boiling this Bigfoot Clone recipe and it says to add the dry hops 45 minutes after the boil. Does that sound like a good idea? I thought it was best to wait till most of the fermentation was complete.

That makes more sense. So I steep them for 45 minutes before I chill?

I typically let my flameout hops sit for 20 or so & then start the chiller.

I'll let it steep for the 45m while it cools and then strain when transferring to the carboy. I don't have a wort chiller so it will probably take 45m to cool anyway.
