Bargain Bluetooth Thermometer....Uses?

Noticed Bluetooth Thermometer on clearance while in my local Target:

Being a sucker for a Bargain, I picked one up...now I need to figure how to incorporate into my brewing!?

I've been looking for a wireless thermometer that either has it's own remote display or ties into bluetooth/wifi for viewing on a phone/tablet. Personally, I want it to monitor my mash temps. Once I dough in, I generally go back into the house for the next 45 minutes or so until I need to start heating the mashout water. It'd be nice to be able to monitor the mash temp from my couch!

How much did you snag that for anyway?
