I'm trying to figure out a way to clean out my liquid lines quickly and easily without having to remove all of my connectors.

What if like is to find something that is basically a ball lock post that I can attach my auto siphon to so that I can pump cleaner through the line without having to cut the hose off every time.

This is especially important for my extra long soda line that I often will hook up to test carbonation and then disconnect and let the keg sit for a week or more. It would be nice to have a QuickClips cheap method to clean it out in between.

Cheers!

I built one like "day trippr" posted. It works great! The sprayer was about $10, the brass fitting was about $3, and I used an old keg fitting that I had laying around. The threads between the brass fitting and the keg fitting are not a perfect match so I used some teflon tape to seal it well. It is very handy.

I just fill up a keg with oxyclean and use co2 to force it thru the lines. I have a huge co2 tank, plus I'm lazy, so it works for me.

I use a ball lock carbonation cap and it works great!! Just add a piece of beer line, fill a 2 liter PET bottle with your cleaner, pressurize it with your CO2 and then run it through your beer lines and taps. The cap fits both the liquid and gas QD. Cheap, simple and effective. I keep two 2 liter bottles on hand. One for my BLC and the other to run water and then StarSan through the lines.

I had one like day trippr posted but got tired of pumping it and having to fill it.

Bought one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/lawn-garden/pumps/92-gph-submersible-fountain-pump-68389.html

Added a short tube and attached a ball lock post. I can now run BLC continuously for as long as I want. When one line is done, I attach the next line and do the same. Then I run water through all the lines then starsan. Much easier than the hand pump IMO.

It's a stainless carbonator... but actually fits on both liquid and gas lines, and has a barb. I put cleaning solution in a bucket, run a pond pump through it. I use two and connect my taps to each other at the other end, so that I clean both lines at once (my kegs are about 20 feet from my taps). With the pump, you can leave it running as long as you want to get everything really clean. Then you use the same connectors to blow CO2 through everything at the end.

I end up using these connectors to clean other lines that I have with liquid and gas connectors (like the ones I use for racking to a keg). Very handy.

Hey @dsniegocki ,

Off topic but did you install that backsplash wall? I've been looking for something like that for a wall in my house. If you happen to know that manufacturer, that would be swell.

I did; it's actually just off-the-shelf mosaic stone from Home Depot. Wish I remember the exact name. I'll try and dig up the brand. Sold in packs of 6 (14" x 8"?) or so and they interlock very nicely. Went up very easily. Had kind of a dull finish after installed, but I used a spray-on glossy sealer that really made a difference.

Just had to say that's a really nice setup. Very clean. I'm not usually one for draft towers, that's the first one I've seen that I've actually admired. Great tile too!

I used a bucket

A pump https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006M6MSL0/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

and a few fittings https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N1OFPDO/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

plus a few fittings and tubing from the hardware store for mine.

BLC cleans beer lined much better than Oxi-Clean. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038NKDRG/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

That's exactly what I'm doing. So much easier than hand pumping. Plus it recirculates for a longer period of time which helps clean it better.

I have over 100 ft of line, so I use a pump with a little more power. Works great l, clean four lines at once and is hands off. I use a ball lock adapter to npt on the pump, Bobby m's ball lock jumpers for two lines and the perlick cleaning adapters on the faucets to daisy chain, white tub was just for drips.
