Backwoods Brewery Upgraded Equipment

Just wanted to show you all some of our little updates. All of our 3 tier connects have gone to quick connect. Makes things much easier than pulling hoses off and reclamping.

We have upgraded our filter to the bazooka screen with 2 other homemade screens, we'll see how it goes for the brew.

As well, our thermometer was in the side of our mash tun. We took a turkey thermometer and put it in the top of the lid and it's bang on.

Interesting screen idea. I used to use a bazooka screen but it always got clogged when brewing ipa's. Now I whirlpool for a bit and rack the wort from the top down it works out great. Let us know how the new screen filtering works!
