Hello, i have just joined the forum and hoping to learn alot. I have brewed a few fruit meads, so far so good. I have done a peach, a tart cherry and a grape. I recently pitched an apple pie mead and I am concerned. I used 3.8 lbs. of honey purchased from a local ee keeper. I used 3 quarts of a local farmers apple cider. Added 4 ounces of brown sugar, 25 raisins, 2 cloves, and a 1/2 tsp. Of allspice and nutmeg. I added pectic enzyme a day before adding yeast nutrient and K1V-1116 yeast. So it has been 3 days since I added the yeast and my airlock has shown no bubbles but there is a layer of foam on top. Should I be worried or do something?
