So I just picked and dried my hops and after looking at my bags I see they are crawling with aphids. I am planning on drying then more in a food dehydrator hoping the heat kills them but does any one have any advice for this issue?

I don't think they would find dried hops very desirable

I had the same problem 2 years ago. I dried the hops between two window screens with a fan blowing from underneath. The next day the screen was covered in aphids. I just picked out the hops and bagged them (probably including some aphids). The beer turned out great. I wouldn't be surprised if there were plenty of squished aphids in the hop pellets we buy.

Mmmmmmmm Aphids

Aphids are bags of sugar-water. The freezer turns them into broken bags of sugar-ice.
