Hi all,

Longtime lurker...looking for some unbiased feedback on an APA recipe.

6.25 gallon batch

6.5 lbs Domestic 2-Row
3.5 lbs Maris Otter
.75 lbs British Carastan (30-37L)

.5 oz Columbus FWH
.5 oz Columbus @15
.5 oz Mosaic @ 10
.5 oz Mosaic @5
1 oz Mosaic @ Flameout

El Dorado Hopback

US-05 yeast

Ferment for 10 days, Dry Hop w/ 1 oz Mosaic for 4 days

Thoughts? Input? Much appreciated...

Looks good, my kind of APA. Many tend to over do it and turn it too hoppy. I've never had el dorado. I love ctz though and I have heard good things about mosaic.

I would brew as is. What's the mash temp and fg you are looking for?

Mojzis,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm going to mash 148-150F, aiming for a FG of 1.012ish. I don't mind if it gets drier, as US05 tends to attenuate well in my experience.

How did this turn out? I'm thinking about making an APA with both mosaic and el dorado and am not sure where to go with them.
