My son is really enjoying his Tae kwan do classes. He is 9, been doing it for a year. I like the idea of him using a "heavy bag" (60 lbs. or so) to build his strength and coordination. I am also thinking of getting a 100 lb. for myself, but have never used one. Any recommendations, comments, etc.
Also, I am thinking of hanging the heavy bag from an I-beam, my wife likes the idea of a freestanding bag, your thoughts?
