I just planted my hops yesterday. This morning I woke up to go water and check them out and I come to find something has dug up two of the 4 hops rhizomes I planted. I found the rhizomes unharmed just thrown in the pile of fertilizer. I've put up a small fence but does anyone have any other ideas to deter animals?

It's a coyote. I caught it this morning and shot it with my pellet gun. Dug up my willamette again. If I see him again we'll she how he likes a nice, sweet bowl of anit-freeze

Now Now not the bowl of antifreeze. That stuff is expensive.;) Just brew a batch of beer, and leave the yote some grain snacks with lots of hops in em.

Ammonia works to keep animals away. Put some in a spray bottle and spray the area regularly.
