Would like a critique on my most recent concoction. I wanted to finish off some stuff I had sitting around. And I had some Chinook that I didn't know what to do with, so I'm going for a Chinook/Amarillo, black IPA. I was worried about the color so I added the roasted barely, but does that make it more of a stout than an IPA?
Yeild: 3.8 L
Yeast: nottingham
.9 kg German Pilsen
100 g Carafa special II
100 g Special W
25 g Roasted Barley
60 min @ 152° F
60 min 2.5 g Chinook
20 min 4 g Amarillo
2.5 g Chinook
10 min 2.5 g Amarillo
4 g Chinook
2 min 3 g Amarillo
3 g Chinook
7 days 4 g Amarillo
4 g Chinook
iirc it should come out to about 6.7% ABV and around 80 IBU.
