Brewed an amber all malt extract kit. Let it sit in the primary 4 weeks and bottled. After 10 days in the bottle I wanted to see if I was getting carbonation and wanted to sneak a taste. Well it was carbed with a decent head, nice color and clear, I tasted it and it was on the bitter side. I'm pretty sure this is normal for a young beer, not sure. I also pitched the yeast on this one on the warm side and had a super active 48 hour fermentation. So wondering if the bitterness is from it being a young beer or pitching the yeast to warm or both. I'll just let it for a couple more weeks and try another then.
