On a ball lock keg, on the gas inlet side - is there suppose to be an o-ring where the spring/piston thing is? basically, holding the assembly upside down, the three prongs of the spring unit meet at a notch (top of threading), where it looks like an o-ring might go...

I'm a noob - sorry

fast answers very much appreciated!!

Does you poppet look like this?

the black part is an o-ring, which seals the poppet to the hole in the post.

wow, awesome picture...i think i figured it out...mine's a little different but it does have a similar o-ring on top, and it does have the prongs on the bottom

right where the prongs rest on the inside of the assembly (held upside down) is where i was concerned with...but i just connected everything and it seems to be fine...i don't think an o-ring goes where i thought it might

thanks!!
