aluminum marks on tub, shmbo is pissed!

need help, i dragged a aluminum pot across the tub and now there's marks on the tub. how can i get these marks out?

What kind of tub is it? Fiberglass? Ceramic? Enamel on steel? Steel?

Different fixes for different materials...

Try a little Barkeeper's Friend on a damp cloth. Test it out first on an area of the tub out of sight to ensure it doesn't dull the finish.

used commit got most of it off, there's still some marks. will try barkeepers

got it off finally, some barkeeper's friend and elbow grease.

i'll try the dog and shoe method next time and let you know if it works
