Hey All,
About 6 years ago I had my hops tested for alpha/beta acids, my question is do they vary from crops to crop, or once a plant is established will it always produce approximately the same A/B ???

Yes - the acid levels can vary from plant to plant, year to year, type of soil, weather conditions, planetary alignment*, time of harvest, and even where on the plant the cones are locate.

This is why acid levels for each variety are listed as a range. If you wanted to know exactly: testing would have to be done, with an accurate mixture of cones, after each harvest.

How much was the last test?

* This one was a joke, but the rest are true.
