Airlock Fail....

I brewed a honey cream ale the other night and I've been using a blow off. Well when I came home from work today the tube wasn't in the water in the growler. At most I think I wasn't air locked for 8 hours. Everything seems fine now. Has anyone had this happen and how bad could it be?

never had that exactly happen but wouldn't worry about it. with everything sealed and CO2 coming out the blowoff tube you should be fine.
