How long does it take to get some cheesy aged hops? I want to brew up a lambic and am impatient.

Not sure how long before they get nasty or if there's a shortcut, but the hops I used in my sour were over 3 years... And smelled nasty!

You can buy aged hops from fresh hops.com. you can also artificially age low AA% hops by baking them in the oven at 170 for a few hours.

that's 85g?? i've got a pillow of them. they are tettnanger whole cones in the 'late cheese' phase. pm me an address if you want me to send some. i don't think it will cost very much to ship to germany. if it comes out good i want a bottle!!
