So if I'm force carbonating and serving with 1 corny how long can I expect one 5# bottle of co2 to last?

'course it sucks when a keg kicks! But it must really suck when your gas kicks and you've still got beer! What do you do then? Open 'er up and get a straw!!!

you fill it back up. There's always enough pressure in the kegs to dispense for a few pints after the gas runs out. I use a 5lb tank for a 5 keg keezer and I get at least 10 kegs out of it. When it runs out I get it filled the next day and move on.

Yeah, I think mine is about to go soon. I've put up 6 kegs so far, but I've wasted a fair bit of the gas playing around and whatnot. Pressurizing kegs full of sanitizer and stuff too.

Fill it up the next day and it's ready to go.

Very true words spoken here. I'm employing a paintball co2 tank and adaptor as my cost effective spare.
