50 gallon bourbon barrel brew

A local distillery will donate me a 53 gallon oak barrel they aged some awesome bourbon in. Do I risk the investment of brewing 50 gallons of beer just to age it in?? Anyone who has barrel aged, I would like some advice.

brew your favorite ipa.. and again. and again.. and again.. etc, to fill it up. do you belong to a brew club? if so, that would be a better answer to give it to the club

I don't have a barrel myself but would really love to age some brews in one. If it were me I'd do it in a heartbeat.
