5 gallon issues....

Ok, I am being told by different people that for a 5 gallon brew go with 18 liters and others are saying 19. Why would people say 18 when it's closer to 19, sorry for the newb question.

Probably bad math. You want 19.2 liters post boil.

30 ml/oz
128 oz/gal
1 liter/1000 ml
= 3.84 liter/gallon
X5=19.2
