I will be doing a 44 gallon batch of stout and was wondering how this recipe looks. The plan is to split it up into eight 5.5 gallon fermentorfuls(?), keeping 3 and giving 5 to my fellow homebrew club members. I want everyone to be able to do different things with their wort. Will this do?

62# Maris Otter
6# Roasted Barley
6# Chocolate Malt
4# Flaked Barley
2# Black Patent

6 oz Nugget(13% A.A.) @ 60

I just entered that grain bill into BrewPal. I am getting 45 degrees lovibond for that beer. BJCP for all stout categories top out at 40. I also got 31IPUs from the nugget. That could be a bit low. Style guidelines aren't the end of the world but are sure worth considering. Maybe look up a tried and true recipe and scale it up?
