Does anyone know if there's enough leaching, from stainless in contact with RODI water for 12 hours or less, to worry about in terms of brewing? Reactivity charts would make me think it's ok....but...
It sounds like the effect would be EXTREMELY minimal:

0.02 mm of penetration per year
equivalent to 0.00002742857142857143 mm of penetration per 12 hours

I sincerely hope not!
I'm definitely safe WRT all the parts of the RO system including the plumbing (plastic pipe) but I do let water sit in the HLT and/or mash tun over night without (so far) any sorry.
