I'm 30 minutes into mash-in and decided to double check with another thermometer. The second thermometer is reading 10 deg higher than the first.
Target mash-in temp 154
first thermometer reading 154 (i'm thinking this is the bad one??)
second thermometer reading 164
If my mash-in temp is in the 160s, what effect will it have? Anything I can do to correct it other than add cold water to cool it down??
