I have a three gallon keg. I filled with work water and put the small screw on 16 gram co2 cartridge and it pushed out water just fine. No leaks.

I did this to test out the keg

This morning there's no pressure or push opened the vent and no hiss.

It has new "thick seal o ring" on the lid and 2 new orings on the posts.

Any ideas about why it's not pushing

The water absorbed the co2?

I pushed out most of the water last night. About a gallon left in it. And still had co2 in it last night.

If anyone has any ideas about this topic your input would be appreciated.
