Honestly i think it is just part of what they do. They started as lhbs and kinda try to stick to their roots.
I can only speak to their Concord CA showroom, but they dont have that much in stock there- like 5-10 sacks of mosy 2 row, and usually a pallett of some special.
Last time i was there the Viking pale was $24.99 for a 50#. (Or 55#). Heck ufa deal.
