After lots of beer and a little planning, I decided to make a new brewstand. I bought an Edelmetall from northern brewer and thought it deserved something a little nicer than concrete blocks as a base!
This was a lot easier and cheaper than I thought it was going to be. I have a nice stainless steel table pulled from an old restaurant that I've used for my mash tun. I simply built around it. The stand itself only took 6 2x4's and a box of screws. I had some plywood sitting around in the garage so I put it to good use.
I also made a waterproof GFCI switch box for the Chugger pump.
Here are some pics. I'll post more as it progresses. I'm planning on running copper lines for gas so I can run off of one regulator.
Legs
I wanted to add more reinforcement for the keggles.
Wiring the switch box
A little silicone to make it waterproof
After trying to decide where to mount the switch, I decided to mount it to a 2x4. Worked like a charm. I also drilled a hole and ran the line through the back of the 2x4.
