So this is my first non kit white wine. I bought 5 gallons of Vidal juice while at a local winery picking up my grapes for my Cab Franc. My question is they are Vidal grapes and I was hoping to make lightly sweet typical vidal white wine. After 7 days in primary I racked it tonight. My current SG is 1.002, when I started pre fermentation the SG was 1.086. Will the current SG be high enough to produce a lightly sweet wine or should I add some sugar? Or should I be killing remaining yeast to stop further fermentation. Sorry if I was rambling.

Thanks,
Chris

Let is sit and age some more so it can start clearing. It is only 7 days old and it's fairly dry now, adding more sugar will just restart fermentation. You can back sweeten later.
