1/4" quick disconnect?

I'm looking to find an solution for a 1/4" quick disconnect without having to convert up to 1/2". Has anyone see a 1/4'' FPT Male to 1/4'' Female Barb?

FPT = Female Pipe Thread, so what's an "FPT Male"?
And what the heck is a female barb?

If you want these in 1/4 inch you should look at pneumatic quick connects.

I haven't been able to find any that have a 1/4" female thread on one side and a male barb on the other.
