I tried making a wheat beer out of stuff I had lying around, some Oat meal, 3lb dme, some spare hops, some 2-row grain.

OG was only 1.030, and now FG looks like 1.010, so that's less than 3% ABV, more like 2.5%. It looks and smells fine, but it reminds me of the beer in the Ericsson R/D center in Sweden: they had free 1% beer in the lunch room :mug:

So everybody got two of them :)

I hate to dump it, maybe I should just keg it and drink it, a LOT.

In Sweden, at that time, you couldn't really buy beer. The stores carried only weak beer, maybe 3.2%; otherwise, go to a liquor store.

I found that as an American, I could get the "export" beer, which was 5+ %. My favorite was Pripp's.
