    coffee syrup ?

    Was in the local Wally World to day buying coffee and saw flavored syrup to add to your coffee? I think. They had Vanillia, Carmel, Hazelnut and Chocolate and even a couple of sugar free. Was wondering if anyone had tried any of this to flavor a batch? They seem to have natural and artifical...

    Potassium Sorbate a bad thing?

    As newbies we are told to not add packaged fruit/juice if it has potassium sorbate in it as it will inhibit or stop fermintation. But if your mead is in the secondary and clear when you add it is it bad to stop fermintation ? seems it may prevent bottle bombs. Jim

    Color?

    Just added Raspberries to my secondary, Real nice color and a pretty good flavor. Will it retain some or all of the color or will it age out clear?

    How Much Yeast?

    So if you want to brew a 5 gal. batch do you use a packet per gallon or what? haven't seen to many 5 gal reciepes that show more than type of yeast. Jim
