    Epic Brew Day

    Yesterday, along with my brew buddy, I brewed 3 beers from all grain at the same time. We used two mash tuns, two brew kettles and one keggle that has no false bottom. We partygiled an imperial stout and brewed an Irish red as a side project all three are in the fermenter...epic brew day!

    Partigyle epic fail

    The plan was a wee heavy and export ale partgile. Did a decoction mash and stepped from 146 to 154 for a total mash time of 2 hours.     Oil Slick?

    Recently brewed an Alaska Amber clone and after 2 weeks in primaryand 2 weeks in secondary it had iridescent swirls on top of the beer in the fermenter it is pretty high gravity over 8% ABV anyone know if this is normal or not? Sorry for the noobish question Josh
