    Head Space troubles

    If you have access to Co2 you can put a blanket of Co2 over the mead and you should be good for a while. You can also add sanitized marbles/glass beads to take up the space.

    What did I cook this weekend.....

    Also done today was pickles from cukes from my garden. On the left is bread and butter, center is refrigerator pickles and on the right is kosher dill pickles.

    Tonight was sous vide pheasant, potato fritter, roasted beets and sautéed beet greens.

    I made a strawberry rhubarb cobbler made with fresh rhubarb from the garden.

    I marinated a wild turkey breast in a Bock brine then cooked at 149F for 2.5hrs. and finished on the grill with some BBQ sauce. Served with corn, salad and an American Bitter.

    Whipped together a quick meal tonight, grilled venison burgers, pickled beets and a salad. Served with a Coconut Porter.

    Tonight was beer brined, bacon wrapped, apple wood smoked pork tenderloin with sautéed asparagus and sun dried tomatoes.
