Thanks to everyone for helping me look at it more objectively. I had to work Monday so I forgot that it was a holiday. If there is no krausen coming out of the top of the fermenter you might be able to try to put the air-lock back in place. I have done that before and it was fine. However, if you're getting krausen out of the top of the fermenter you will need to use a blow off tube.

Your beer will most likely be fine. I put my hands into my Star San solution all the time. I also fill my fermenter with water from a faucet with a filter in the line. I also use a pitcher that I don't sanitize. I have never had an infection. RHAHB

I don't know what Revy does, but my piece of tubing fits snugly over the spigot and wand, so I don't use any clamps.

With my setup, the displacement of the wand creates too much headspace in 12oz bottles. So I end up adding a little more volume by pressing the inside of the bottle neck against the wand tip (or vise versa) to release a little more beer.
