So, what is your glass of beer of choice?

I'm pretty partial to either a 16oz pint or a 14oz Glass steins. I of course enjoy speaking like a leprechaun at every occasion saying "Woudja like a bowl of stew and a tankard of ale" :D What about you guys?

    House hops

What do you use the most? Do you guys have base hops (akin to base malts) that you keep in bulk perhaps? I got a pound of Ekg, I was wondering about you guys?

Anyone tried Canada Malting's "la Québécoise" two row?

It's from my province :rockin: I'd like to know how it would react as my go to base grain? That means that 90% of my "grain money" stays home! :D

    Beer transplant

So I brewed two ales yesterday, one with S-04 and one with Wyeast Scotch Ale 1728. However the pack did not swell at all, I figured they do that sometimes. 24 hours after I took a gravity reading still at the OG. SO I guess I just have bad yeast this time around. For science (and because I...

    What is your bitter ale?

Hi, Recently I have been brewing lots of bitters. Mostly ESB's but I really would like to be able to get an Ordinary Bitter and a Special Bitter going. It's really to get a quaffable and sessionable beer. I often use Safale S-04 or Wyeast 1028. Do any of you guys...

Is beer a common drink or a special drink for you?

Do you keep it for special occasions or are you a daily drinker? I am a semi-frequent drinker myself allowing myself a pint on at least 5-6 nights a week.:rockin:

    Pairings?

Hey guys. Since I'm still small scale on kegs, I used a second hand freezer to use as a two tap kegerator. Thing is, I try to drink both at the same pace. I'd like to do seasonal “sets“. To date I had some that were sometimes too similar (IPA + APA) , (Irish RES + ESB). So I'd...

How do you come up with names?

I was wondering if you guys gave names to your stuff? I used to give a few. But after more than 30 batches running, my "names" have pretty much ended like "x type with y hops @ z% ABV" like a poor Rpg name generator. What influences name giving for your beers?
