Sorry for the MultiPosts! I suck at HBT Mobile apparently. I swapped the SSR out with a spare (thank god I thought of that 2 years ago!) and it looks like we're back in business!

I got a rare occasion to brew this afternoon. Set up the rig last night. Went out, flipped her on, set my temp and walked away. The water got up to 125 and won't climb any higher. The element 'on' light is not lighting up anymore. What gives? I've brewed about 20 batches on this thing...

I bought mine from AHS a couple years back. No questions asked other than "Cash or Card" I broke it, and ordered another one off of Amazon. Never filled a form out or anything. Guess I'm Breaking Bad (Badum Tsch!)

Are y'all getting a little of the silicone on the element itself, and is that ok?

I'd like to see the whole setup on a brew day. Threads like "I spent all this money on brewgear, I'm awesome" usually get old quick. How about posting some recipes or techniques that we could use? As far as a conical goes, do you ferment in a controlled temp environment? That's the only thing...

Hops lose their bite and aroma after a while, but the beer will be good indefinitely. It's just a big beer bottle. Avoid temp swings and you'll be fine. Cheers!

I had the same problem, light was dim when element wasn't hooked up, but went dark when element was plugged in. Lit like a charm when it was supposed to.

I'd use the 15 gallon for the boil kettle so you can do 10 gallon batches if you prefer. I'd put a valve on all of them with camlock fittings, and thermometers on the HLT and Mash Tun. Sight glass on the HLT as well. Not needed on the BK because the liquid in the tube boils as well and you can't...
