    Modelo?

I like Pacifico, Negra Modelo, and Dos Equis Amber, and drink Modelo when none of the above are available. I really want to brew a Pacifico clone, but am not set up for lagering yet.

    What are you drinking now?

Three cheers to Firestone walker and Harvest Hosts! Every time we stay at a brewery or winery, we drop waaay more cash than we ever would at upscale RV parks. But way more fun, and have met some really great people.

    Pellet smokers

I bought a Pit Boss 1150 Pro over a year ago and absolutely love it. I'm very glad to be done with propane on the big grill. Most Pit Boss smokers have the heat plates that you can move and end up with more of a direct flame. Very similar results to cooking over a fire, but much more...

What do I brew for my girl?

My wife didn't like beer much, but would drink a Corona once in a while. She tried Pacifico and really liked it, still does. Then she slowly added browns, porters, stouts. More recently has added fruited sours of all things. This all happened because I would get tasters of everything and let...

    What are you drinking now?

You'd think as Fat Tire was their flagship from way back, they could have come up with a new name for the new beer, not keep the same name for a new beer and tick off Fat Tire drinkers from way back.

    BIAB vs 3 vessel setups

I would think a smoker, gas grill, etc. wouldn't be considered open flame. Fire pit and propane burner, yes. Seems odd that they mentioned open flames and propane tanks. Makes you kind of wonder . . .

    What are you drinking now?

@MaxStout Funny you mention that - my very first beer was from a mug just like that (the little ones). Took one sip and hated it. I apparently got over it!

    Need help kicking the bottles

I started with a two tap kegerator, but am working on converting a two door fridge with lower freezer. It's smaller (counter depth), maybe 21cf, but will swagering. 4 or 5 kegs with CO2 inside. The plan is to use the kegerator for lagering.

Milk Chocolate Stout AG vs Extract

I look forward to the results as well. Last year we used the extract kit, added cinnamon and vanilla, and the beer was wonderful. We have since made the transition to all grain and ordered 2 of the all grain kits. Working on finishing a basement has hit the pause button on brewing for a bit.

    Texas Recommend brewery

St. Elmo Brewing Company in south Austin is a great venue with very good beer. They used to have a food truck as well. Oops, my bad! I didn't go to the first post and missed the June bit. St. Elmo is still a great place!
