    SCR vs TRIAC SSR

    I'm in the market for two 32-40A solid state relays and some manufacturers list their relays as SCR or TRIAC... Would a SCR SSR only conduct on a half cycle vs the TRIAC on a full cycle? I don't want to cheap out on this critical piece and cause a potential for fire or only get partial power...

    Illinois TRUE TDD-# 6 Tap Kegerator

    I have a True Mfg. 6 tap (two towers with 3 taps each), double door kegerator that is set up to serve 6 ball lock kegs. It has 3 secondary pressure regulators with all new gas lines. The liquid lines were cleaned after every keg. $1000 I am located in Joliet, IL.
