    Decided to buy an SS Intertap faucet I found on eBay, as it was only a few more dollars (shipped) than the replacement Perlick friction ring at CHI.... And.... Almost immediately found the missing Ventmatic friction ring when cleaning around my keezer!! Well, at least I have a back up plan...

    Thanks pmsjr. Looks like there are some option for o-ring replacements, but I'm still going to have to figure out the friction washer... I'll probably buy the Perlick replacement kit to see if it's compatible. I'll report back my findings.

    Reviving this thread, because I just lost a friction "ball" washer when cleaning my Ventmatics... I tried to replace it with a ball washer from a standard "non-forward sealing" faucet and it doesn't fit right. The washers in the Ventmatics are thinner and the standard doesn't seat right. I was...

    Looks like nobody's chimed in from IL yet, so I'll put in my 2 cents. There are a lot of great places in Chicago but my personal favorite will be found in the burbs... The Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL is a fantastic location. Constantly rotating taps with amazing beers, many hard to find...

    Tincture for pumpkin beer?

    I've done this and it works wonderfully. I mainly keg, so I filled bottles (which I had dosed with the tincture) from the keg. I would imagine results will vary, but about 3 ml of the tincture in a 22 oz bottle was just about right.
