So I finally saved enough money to get the brew pot that I wanted I was Eurotanks 50 L one. AHS seems to have sold out of those so my question is do I get the smaller one (30L) or do I look for a bigger one? I just do 5gal batches right now but maybe someday do 10gals. What do you guys think?

What concentration do you use? Just the default? How long does it take?

Go with the LHBS kit, you will be able to ask them questions and they will know exactly what you are talking about because they sold you the kit. Plus you are going to end up buying more and more stuff as you go along.

Maybe you could use gfci breakers? They are expensive though, but work well.

I drove by you on Sunday. I should have stopped but had the swmbo and kid with me and they wanted to get home. I thought to myself that is a unique way to brew. Dang it should have stopped.

+1 to Midwest kits. The DVD that comes with it is not high quality but the information presented is good. Really helped me as I have never watched anybody brew before you got to see the process. That DVD is a great overview of what needs to be done to get a batch of beer going.
