I'm realizing that lifting a full 1/2 barrel up into my keezer is a lil' difficult to say the least. I've been thinking maybe i can transfer to 3 cornies instead for ease of movement. Does anyone else do this? Any tips/tricks? TIA:fro:

Found a place pretty close by that could tig stainless couplers in my megapot and converted sanke...pretty cheap too: $20 for 2 welds. Dropped 'em off and went to get something to eat while the work was being done. Only problem is i neglected to specify that i wanted the couplers welded...

OK, so my keezer is functional, got a brand new coupler last week, picked up a keg of SNPA a few days ago. Got my love controller regulating the keezer to 42 and the fedex guy just dropped off a shipment from NB with my beernut/tailpiece and washer...I'm all set....except for one stupid...

I've searched but haven't found exactly what i'm looking for: a definitive step by step guide to programming my love controller. I don't really understand all the parameters...i just want to set it to around 48 degrees....are they any guides or something similar to walk me through the process?

got a whole house filter for christmas and was wondering what kind/where to purchase the cartridge for removing chlorine? Do they sell activated charcoal filters for these? Is a carbon filter the same thing? What do you guys use? Got this so i don't have to brew with bottled water anymore...

So my local brewpub has closed, I was able to buy sacks of grain for $40. So i'm wondering where the cheapest place to order online? I usually get stuff from northernbrewer but they charge actual shipping for sacks. Who's got a better place I can order from for the best price?

so i only yielded about 4 gallons from my northernbrewer dry irish stout ag kit. I'd like to rack it to my keg (5 gallon) but i'm wondering if i'd have problems force carbing with so much head room? I can always bottle with carb tabs if kegging isn't possible. BTW: even tho i was a gallon...

:fro: Hey hey hey Decided to go old school (for me) and bottle my batch of NBs IPA. I'll be using muntons carb tabs but have a few quick questions. The directions for the tabs call for varying how many tabs used depending on the desired carb level. So, what's the desired carb level for this...

just never got around to movin it to a 2ndary. i think i may actually wanna bottle this instead racking to the keg...but i'm curious if the yeast are still gonna be able to carb naturally (i'll be using muntons carb tabs). well i'm at it....can i still wash the yeast from the primary...
