    Dishwasher rack

    I recently got a new dishwasher, and it doesnt have the rack capable of holding bottles. I was thinking about making my own rack. But i am stumped on what to make it out of..any suggestions?

    IPA recipe help

    I have been experimenting around, and for my next brew i have german kolsch yeast, a pliny the bastid grain bill(obtained from hombrewtalk recipe database), i would like to brew an ipa, i have cascade, simcoe, and centennial hops.. Anybody have any suggestions?

    Extract amounts

    Im preparing to bottle an all grain cherry wheat, but i have no idea how much cherry extract i should start out with. Anybody have any suggestions?

    Priming sugar substitutes?

    I am fresh out of corn sugar, and have a bottling day planned in the next few days. I do have lots of table sugar. I also have a bag of DME. I may even have a few other things. Or should i just wait and order a bag of corn sugar?

    No activity after 36 hours

    I had a beer in primary, and then i racked it into secondary. I rolled a beer right on top of the yeast cake, and i have no activity after 36 hours. Should i re-pitch some fresh yeast? How long should i wait?

    When i do this, will it get really active, should i start with a blow off, or will an ailock be ok?

    What a day!

    So after planning a boil all month, working around dr. Appts. Driving kids and the wife around, i attempted a boil tonight. I was opening all my ****, when my wife informed me how much it stank and she would really rather have me do it in the garage. Well, i dont have the ability to boil water...

    Hops

    Should i be boiling my hops in a bag? I dont want to do this, but how am i supposed to get all the hop gunk out before i put it in primary? Of do i leave all the hops that ive boiled in with the primary? Im a little confused....

    Ferocious ipa from midwest

    Anybody ever done this kit before? Any advice? I bought 2 ounces of extra cascade hops, any advice on what could make this beer breat would be appreciated. Been getting a lot of good feedback from this forum already, thanks everybody!

    My 2nd brew, ipa.

    This is by far one the tastiest brews i have ever had! Its a much darked version than i intended it to be, but i think that was due to me boiling a full 5gallons instead of the kit recommended 1.5 gals. My red ale said to do that so i did it here without thinking.

    Cherries in my imperial stout? Im a newbie.

    So i would like to do an imperial stout, i want to add real cherries, no extract, has anyone done this? I want to taste the cherries, but i dont want it overpowering either

    Cherries in my imperial stout?

    So im pretty new to brewing, and i would like to do an imperial stout, i would like to add some cherries flavor also. How should i go about this? Dry hopping? I really dont want to use any extract, just real fruit. And of your input would be appreciated.
