Getting a 2 Faucet Tower Kegerator Kit, need mini fridge recommendation

Getting a 2 Faucet Tower Kegerator Kit (ball lock), I need mini fridge recommendations or maybe I should go for a small chest freezer? There is a danby at Costco that claims 33 1/16" height, just under 21" width, and a depth of a hair over 21". Will this work with two ball lock corny kegs? Thanks

    Month past Best Before Date.

~12 hours later, it has started and there is bubbling, no Krazy Krausen yet, but I've had slower starts. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Month past Best Before Date.

I have two vials of WL European Ale 0011 yeast with the best before 7/17/14, it is now 8/17. I didn't expect to be brewing today so I didn't do a starter. My projected OG is 1.058. Do you think that a double pitch of this yeast will do the job or should I scamper the the local HB shop and pick...

10 vs 15 and Soup vs Tuna

Looking for a brew kettle, have read a bunch of stuff on this forum about kettle size and shape preferences. I am hoping to get boiled down opinions and recommendations, now that that time has past (some of the threads are a few years old) and many gallons of beer have been brewed in these...

    Craigslist Carboy

Picked up a 6.6 gallon carboy off of craigslist for cheap. The guy selling it claimed to helping an old man by selling all the crap he collected over the years. He said the carboy was from the '80s and didn't know what the guy used it for. The carboy looked clean and with a couple of...

What should I do with $200?

I try not to miss them. I'll be coming home that night from Saint Augustine after a two day work trip, so I will do my best to make it.

What should I do with $200?

Thanks, my budget isn't quite limited to 200 bucks but it brings a good brew pot into a price range. (like having a $200 off coupon). Looks like brew pot is the popular choice. Thanks!

What should I do with $200?

Lots of brewers in Tally, we have our own HBS and local HB club with a large membership. Wonder why there are not more on this forum.

What should I do with $200?

I was thinking brew pot, that is really the major tool in brewing, but wanted to get your opinions. Thanks!

What should I do with $200?

No, both married to different people and she is also a coworker, I enjoy her company, but I also see her more than enough.

What should I do with $200?

Did an odd job for a coworker and got paid $200. I have been brewing for less then a year and do most of my brewing with a friend who had a nice 10 gallon brew bot, a decent propane burner, and wort chiller. When I brew alone, I need to borrow her equipment. I already have a few glass...

All Grain to Mini-Mash Conversion Help

I am interested in making this a mini-mash (have yet to venture into full grain). http://www.beersmith.com/Recipes2/recipe_71.htm Ideas on the grain to extract conversion? I m thinking on just using liquid extract for the base grain, but I am still new to this so any advice is welcome. P.S...

    Australian Ale Recipe

There is some white labs Australian Ale Yeast available for a short time. I am looking for a good Australian Ale Recipe (not a lager, something more like a wit or amber) that is more signature Aussie (using Australian hops and such) then what is typically brewed in the US. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Secondary Carboy Size

Hello, I am new to home brewing and have a question. I am going to brew Bourbon Barrel Old Ale kit from Midwest Supplies. The directions recommend a secondary fermentation time of up to 6 months. As for as fermenters go, I have a couple 6 gallon buckets and a 6.5 gallon glass carboy. From...
