We planted some hops two years ago someone gave us. We have four varieties, problem is we don't know what they are for sure. They were not labeled. Is there a field guide to identifying hops?

What's the smallest batch of beer you've made?
I am contiplating trying smaller then average batch sizes this winter. The thought being to save cost and space and be able to have more attempts at recipe tweaking/variety.
What's a good small batch size? 2, 3, 4 gallon?
