    Thanks. So it sounds like it doesn't really matter when it is added as it will ferment anyway. Anyone prime with honey? Possible to get honey flavor that way?

    Planning on brewing a honey ale with some local, unpasteurized honey. What, if anything should I be concerned with using this honey? What about timing of addition-beginning/end of boil. What about adding some additional to the primary to get some of the honey flavor? Thanks

    Good to hear thanks for the info. It's a brown ale/thanksgiving beer so I wont be upset if it's a little darker.

    Added LME too early?

    Hi all. Brewed batch #2 over the weekend. Removed steeping grains around 170 and accidentally added lme right away instead of waiting for boil. Is this going to cause any flavor problems?
