    Recipe lingo

    I am brewing a holiday beer tonight and am prepping my extras. The recipe calls for Orange Peel and the amount says "4.0 each". What does that mean? Probably a dumb question, but I've not run into this one before and don't want to overpower the beer. Also included in the "each" measurements...

    Carbonating

    My last batch was over carbonated. The brew had an awesome flavor, but it has the carbonation feel of a soda. That was a new World Porter clone. This batch I am bottling tonight is an imperial red. I have a hair over 4 gallons. What sugar/water measurements should I use?
