So when I go to crush my grain my mill grabs and starts to crush and it works fine for a little while. Then it just stops and the handle spins freely. Then it gets going again for a bit. This makes crushing grain even more painstaking. The roller gap is set correctly. Any idea how to fix this?

Following this build as I need a motorized mill. I say this after milling over 19lbs of grain today to brew...haha

I am not familiar with WY3463 strain. Will it handle the high abv from this beer? What other styles of beer have you made using that strain?

As far as the water goes I normally install an RO in the new house and build my water up. That way there's no guess work.😁

Well the military has me moving yet again. Hopefully this is the last one though. I will be moving near pax river Maryland. About an hour or so south of Washington dc. Does anyone have any insight to the area as far as lhbs, clubs, or good breweries?
