I was at a bar the other day listening to the specials. The waitress told me there was a special on Bud Light and Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I quickly ordered the Sam Adams. The waitress said she heard it was good and it is a"pumpkin beer". I just looked at her and slowly shook my head.
Doesn't sound like a 3rd degree burn. Blistering is a sign of a 2nd degree burn. 3rd degrees damages all skin layers and damages the underlying tissues (muscle, nerves, bone). A 3rd degree is a medical emergency due to the extent if damage and shock. All that said medical attention is a good idea.
Ok. Drinking my first one and I think it turned pretty good. It is skittle more brown than red, but has a nice malt flavor with some Carmel sweetness. Very drinkable. I may make this my first signature brew. May tweak the color a bit.
Brewed this yesterday (9/3) on my day off. I have to say, it smelled amazing in the kettle. Can't wait until I "have" to take gravity readings. I'm hoping this will be the beer to get my wife able to tolerate beer. (She rarely drinks beer at all)
We brewed the Irish Car Bomb Stout that can be found on these forums. It called for/we used 1 oz Fuggles at 60 and that's it. Cam out great cause we didn't want a strong hop flavor when adding the vanilla bean and Jamison.
