Georgia just started cracking down on non-salable alcohol being in retail locations (LHBS is also a bottle/growler shop), which has kinda put a crimp in the Homebrew club.

@shortyz right, I think - we don’t actually like pumpkin. We like the spices/flavors traditionally used in pie - sugar, cinnamon, clove, allspice, etc. and the pumpkin is just a carrier.

It’s really good with tangerine instead of bitter orange, too. I use a zester or a cheese grater and about the same amount by weight as the dried orange - it’s about one of those tangerines per 5 gal, if I remember rightly.
