Unfortunately, it doesn't look like my shipping order from KegConnection has the lengths. I'd assume it was the standard 4 1/8", but it would be hard to know without pulling my door apart. That is correct. After modeling it in sketchup, I played with a few different placements and decided I...

This looks awesome! I can't wait to see more!

The biggest piece of advice I can give is this. If the refrigeration system works and is in good condition, be very careful with it. As you can see in one of my earlier posts, it can be separated from the rest of the fridge entirely. It makes it very easy to do whatever you want to the main...

Honestly, it's been long enough that I can't remember the specifics. To give you a general idea, the door hinges can be unscrewed once you remove the chrome caps. The emblem comes off with a metal clip on the inside of the door.

I'm glad I my experimentation and write up helped out! I hope yours gets as much attention as mine does at parties. Instant cred with the fellow brewers ;)

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

It runs on a pretty standard LAMP stack. While it's not been covered, as long as the AppleTV supports LAMP, it should theoretically work.

Since we're in the middle of a really big code rewrite, I'd recommend holding off for a bit. I'd hate for you to go through all the work of developing a new feature, only to have it be stuck with V1.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Arduino compatible boards are generally either 5v or 3v3. Make sure you're only feeding it what it's rated for...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Be aware that using other products for the GPIO may mean you're not able to use RPints flow monitoring or hardware control.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

V2 is under way, but the release date is still too far off for any official announcement. Right now our dev team is pretty small and we're all just working on it when we've got free time. It would be impossible to estimate at this point. That said, we're making good progress. We're currently...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Your research is spot on. The way most of them run is just by flipping a data line on when motion is detected, and off otherwise. The only issue is making sure that you're doing voltage level conversion if the PIR data line is 5v. Make sure to give the GPIO pins 3v3 or else you're going to have...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Ahh! That makes much more sense! I had thought you were trying to turn the monitor OFF when not in use! Having the screen saver start up and having a motion sensor kill it is totally reasonable! Let me know if you want any help getting it running with the PIR sensor. I've got a couple around...
